S Ă N E A D U C E M A M I N T E
După 12 ani de la 11 septembrie 2001

Vremea nu a rămas pe loc, numai durerea celor care şi-au pierdut pe cei dragi a săpat neîncetat în sufletul lor, precum apa unui râu în malul nisipos, le-a marcat existenţa, le-a schimbat cursul vieţii pentru totdeauna, i-a făcut să trăiască cu amintirea părinţilor, copiilor, prietenilor…plângându-i neîncetat. Durerea au transformat-o-n poezie, iar poezia a devenit cântec de alean şi întristare. Pe scena politică a lumii s-au petrecut evenimente deosebit de grave, s-au deschis noi teatre de luptă pentru lichidarea terorismului. Popoarele au înţeles că civilizaţia umană este ameninţată de păsări malefice însetate de sânge, duhuri ale răului care ne fac viaţa un calvar . Toţi oamenii care iubesc LIBERTATEA, uniţi în gând şi acţiune, se străduiesc să aducă PORUMBELUL PĂCII pe pământ, făcând front comun împotriva răului. Sentimentele mele de dragoste şi compasiune pentru cei care au fost jertfiţi fără milă (acum şapte ani) de forţele răului la 11 Septembrie 2001, cât şi pentru urmaşii celor dispăruţi, au rămas aceleaşi, motiv ce m-a făcut să scriu şi a doua parte la volumul „CUNUNI DE FLORI PENTRU EROI” – fiind convins că apelul meu va fi înţeles de cei care conduc destinele omenirii.
Lumea va deveni mai bună. Iubirea faţă de aproapele nostru va fi ca o binecuvântare dumnezeiască. Viaţa pe care am primit-o în dar de la bunul nostru Dumnezeu nu ne va mai fi curmată în războaie şi atentate distrugătoare, ci vom trăi liberi şi fericiţi alături de cei dragi. Soarta celor dispăruţi în groaznicul atentat din 11 septembrie 2001 a adus aceeaşi durere în sufletul poporului american, ca şi nouă, românilor, în timpul Revoluţiei de înlăturare a regimului comunist, în decembrie 1989. Mulţumesc din inimă distinşilor domni: Ec. diplomat GHEORGHE DRAGOMIR – Preşedinte Exicutiv al Asociaţiei Culturale „ROMÂNIA ÎN LUME” şi Rectorului UNIVERSITĂŢII ROMÂNO-AMERICANE, prof. univ. dr.ION SMEDESCU, care mi-au fost îndrumători de nădejde, acordându-mi încredere şi sprijin prietenesc pentru a reuşi să public volumul de faţă, în care am sădit o părticică din sufletul meu pentru poporul american.
În aceste poezii, am căutat să prind ultimele gânduri ale celor care au fost tineri, vârstnici, copii, părinţi, îndrăgostiţi…oameni ce au iubit viaţa , şi au murit într-un mod nefericit. Tragedia acestor oameni m-a întristat foarte mult, am fost şi sunt zguduit de soarta nemiloasă care au avut-o căci, fiecare cuvânt pe care l-am scris, mi-a fost trimis prin şoapte dulci de către sufletele lor ce plutesc în apropierea noastră.
Gândurile lor le-am trăit ca pe nişte imagini vii, şi am suferit alături de ei. Moartea lor fulgerătoare, fiind îngropaţi de vii sub dărâmăturile imensului bloc World Trade Center, a clădirii Pentagonului, pulverizaţi în neant prin explozia avioanelor, am înţeles-o ca pe cea mai mare catastrofă la nivel planetar, ca pe un atac mişelesc asupra civilizaţiei umane. Pentru aceşti oameni minunaţi, în volumul „CUNUNI DE FLORI” am venit cu rugămintea din partea eroilor, ca toţi oamenii de pe pământ să le sădească flori pentru slava şi nemurirea lor. In CREZUL UNEI MAME este cuprinsă revolta tuturor femeilor din lume, care nu mai vor să-şi piardă fii şi soţii în confruntări sângeroase, fiindcă durerea de mamă este atât de mare, că cerul s-ar umple de milă şi ar aduce PACEA veşnică pe pământ. Sunt încrezător că America va renaşte mai înfloritoare, va da PORUMBELUL PĂCII oamenilor, şi-şi va cinsti eroii răsădind floare lângă floare în pământul binecuvântat de Dumnezeu al patriei lor – ŢARA LIBERTĂŢII.

Twelve years after September 11th 2001

Years have passed. Still, the pain of those who lost the people they loved has been ceaselessly eroding their souls like streams digging in sandy banks. It has left a mark on their existence, and it has irreversibly changed the course of their lives. It has made them live to remember their parents, children, friends, and to endlessly mourn them.
These people have changed their pain into poetry, and poetry has been made into pieces of music expressing their deep regret.
Extremely grave events have taken place on the political stage of the world. Consequently, new combat zones have been opened with a view to annihilating terrorism. The peoples of the world are now aware of the fact that human civilization is being threatened by bloodthirsty evil birds that are turning our everyday life into a living hell.
All the people sharing their ideals of freedom and decisive action have been trying to bring the peace dove to the world by sticking together in front of evil forces. I still have the same feelings of love and compassion as regards those that were ruthlessly sacrificed by evil forces five years ago, on the 11th of September 2001. Also I feel the same about the relatives of the dead people.
This is the reason why I decided to write Part II - the sequel to Flower Wreaths – being also convinced that my appeal will be heard by those in charge of the destiny of mankind.
The world will be better. The love for our neighbor will be like a heavenly blessing. The life that we received as a gift from our Lord will be no longer put an end to as a result of wars and terrorist attempts. We will live in peace and harmony together with the people we love. The deaths caused by the terrible events of September 2001 have plunged the American people into a kind of pain that is similar to the one experienced by us, the people of Romania, in December 1989 when the Revolution for abolishing the communist regime took place.
I wish to express my deep gratitude to the distinguished Professor Dr. ION SMEDESCU, Rector of the Romanian-American University, and GHEORGHE DRAGOMIR, Chief Executive Officer, “Romania in the World” Cultural Association, who has proved to be a most reliable guide.
He kindly offered his trust and support so that these poems could be published as a volume, as a book in which a part of my soul is piously dedicated to the American people.

Within these poems I tried to catch the final thoughts of those who were young, old, children, lovers, parents, people who loved life, and died tragically. The tragedy of these people made me so sad that I was shattered of their merciless fate, that every word I wrote was inspired by their innocent souls. Their thoughts I lived with live images and I suffered alongside their being that ended together with the crushing of the two Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, onto them, burying them alive. The explosion of the airplanes that pulverized into nothingness the travelers, the destruction of the Pentagon Building, where so many people died, I understood as the largest tragedy of the American people and of the civilized world in front of the terrorism
For these people in “FLOWER CROWNS FOR THE HEROES” I came with the request from them that the entire human kind and especially the American people to seed flowers in the blood filled ground of the USA, and the stars on the flag would light forever in their memory, cause they were innocent and they could not live anymore because of bloody terrorists that attacked in a cowardly manner the human civilization. Rarely (it is for the first time) it happens that in the life of a nation such a tragedy takes place. In that mother’s belief which by her fate, bows to GOD for the innocent to be punished, and to mourn forever because there were mother’s that grow their children without their fathers, and the children without parents will suffer their hole life.
America will revive even more flourishing, and will give to the world the PEACE DOVE, and its people will know to honor its heroes. For them, flower next to flower will grow, on the blessed earth of a free country.
PRAISE THE HEROES! FLOWER CROWNS FOR THEIR IMMORTALITY.

Cununi de flori să presăraţi
Peste ţărâna-ntregii ţări!
Am fost jertfiţi nevinovaţi…
S-aprindeţi lumânări,
Să lumineze peste zări,
Să mai putem vedea
Câmpii şi munţii-nalţi
Şi mări în depărtări…

Iubită ţară, noi am vrea:
Tu, doliu să nu porţi!
Îmbracă-ţi trupu-n peruzea,
Mai frumoasă să arăţi…
Grădini de flori vei ridica.
Iar din petale ne-mpletiţi
Drapelul nostru sfânt.
Copii, neveste şi părinţi…
Încet lăsaţi-l pe mormânt,
Căci vrem să-l încălzim
Cu răsuflarea noastră…,
Suntem cu voi şi vă iubim!

Din trupuri o să crească
Zambile, crini, mărgăritare…
Din suflete, rouă de argint;
Priviţi, în fiecare floare…
E dorul nostru ne-mplinit.
Cum cerul e iubit de soare,
…Viaţa, noi am îndrăgit,
Dar soarta neagră ne-a lovit
Cu mâna ei ne-ndurătoare.

Să puneţi floare lângă floare,
Pământu-ntreg să-l răsădiţi.
Lume!…ştii că eşti trecătoare…
De ce voi, oameni, nu gândiţi?!
Din flori culegeţi bucurie;
Nicicând nu ne uitaţi!…
În ţara noastră să nu vie
Duşmanii răi şi însetaţi
De sânge şi de răzbunări.

Aprindeţi stelele de pe drapel,
Iar PĂCII daţi un PORUMBEL
Să ducă o creangă de măslin;
Petale dulci lăsaţi să cadă,
Mai albe ca fulgii de zăpadă,
Peste durere…Vă iubim!

Viaţa, Dumnezeu când ne-a dat,
Pământu-ntreg ne-a dăruit,
El ura neagră-a alungat…
Prin jertfa Lui ne-a mântuit.

Flower crowns please put
On the land of the entire country!
Innocent have been killed…
Turn on candles,
To light up the sky,
So we can see again
The planes and the tall mountains
And distant seas…

My dear country, we would like:
For you to stop mourning!
To dress you body all in blue,
To look more beautiful…
Flower gardens you will rise.
And from the petals you will make
Our holy flag.
Children’s, wife's and parents…
Slowly let him down in the grave,
Cause we want to warm him
With our breath…,
We are with you and we love you!

From the bodies it will grow
Lilies, and precious, stones…
From your souls, silver dew;
Look, in every flower…
It’s our unfulfilled desire.
As the sun loves the sky,
…The life, we loved a lot,
But the black fate hit us
With its merciless hand.

Put flower near flower,
The entire earth seed…
Oh, world!… you know that pass by…
Why do, you people, don’t you think?!
You pick joy from the flowers;
Never forget us!…
In our country must not come
The evil enemies with thirst
For blood and vengeance.

Turn on the stars on the flag,
And a DOVE gives to the PEACE
To carry an olive branch;
Sweet petals let fall,
Whiter than the snowflakes,
Over the pain. … We love you!
